Paris is SUCH a little bitch.

C'est très long, j'ai changé de traducteur pour Mugler, les vers sont plus régulier mais il reste la lourdeur du style original, j'ose dire qu'on s'est amélioré en poésie en 2000 ans. Beaucoup de chapitres se ressemblent, bataille, puis c'est désamorcé pour quelconque raison et on recommence. Les grands protagonistent se dessinent quand meme, Hector, Agamemnon, Diomede et Ulysse. Paris et Achilles restent discrets

The book is very well written for how ancient the story is. The translation is very easy to follow. The story is mainly the Greeks and Trojans fighting and the gods influencing the war itself with their own agendas. It’s is eventful but also a bit monotone.
