Status Updates From A Ilha Perdida Gullstruck

Oh! I’m crying🫠

…I appear to have been bamboozled

Oh my god, I thought she was dead. I mean, she crossed my mind like twelve pages ago, but it’s kind of hard to betray your whole people when you’re too busy being dead

Apparently the ending I remembered was actually the 55% mark, so now I’m a little behind everything

There is no bittersweet ending to see on the horizon.

Even if what I remember comes to fruition by the last words, there is no positive outcome

Fascinating how I remembered the first page and (maybe) last page(s), but not the whole genocide that takes place in the first third of the book

1) I definitely read this when I was lil but I insisted upon double checking, so here we are. I think I know part of how it ends, so I can’t wait to find out how we get there😌

2) The protagonist is at most twelve years old. Why is there so much responsibility on her shoulders😭 She’s just a baby

Frustrated by Arilou at first but now I’m starting to adore her
