Status Updates From The Bumblebee Flies Anyway

Great idea for a story. Set in an experimental unit for treating people with terminal illnesses, including children, it runs the risk of being either morbid or sentimental but the author neatly evades those. From what I've read about the book, the plot swerves a little off course with the Bumblebee adventure in the final third and the ages of the child characters don't quite ring true.
