feel a little bad for rating it this low because I should’ve just dnfed it earlier but it had potential so I held on

I really feel like all these individual elements have potential but this book is tossing way too many things together for anything work. I wish they got rid of the whole sci fi plotline and focused on the demons and katrina. also, this whole selling your soul thing is creating so much less strife between them than I thought it would?? where is turmoil this is kind of underwhelming
