This book is helpful for a layman (me) but I feel like it seriously needs… more?

I like the idea of de-stigmatizing Middle Eastern ways of living but am struggling to see any unique value in this particular author’s perspective

So far the writing is ok- I’m a bit worried about the potential for generalization but we’ll see where this goes
