Had some good take always today:
Action steps are small, simple. I tend to overcomplicate them.
Having a process (system) for tracking action steps and maintaining adequate documentation for noticeable progression.
Also, I appreciated that Julie used assessment data alongside observation data to inform the action steps. Lastly, short observations and 30 minute check-ins - longer does not = better.

Just finished the data driven instruction chapter — I have some good reflections / takeaways, and now heading into observation and feedback. Note: it kind of made me wished I had purchased the Data Driven book as it was referenced frequently.
