The world and plot grabbed me at the very beginning. However, the main character is irritatingly childish. She is technically at least 70 years old, even though she hasn’t aged since she took the role of Keeper as a young woman. Why wouldn’t her intellect mature? Why is she still behaving like a petulant teenager?
