Didn’t finish this. I tried several times but just couldn’t. I started out loving the way the author writes, but I personally feel that she got carried away and the story line took too long to ‘kick off’ and I couldn’t keep focused waiting on when the story starts.

The bad reviews must have been written by people who did not grow up in immigrant households.
