This has been a very historical read, revealing information I’d never known before. I was a little unimpressed with the original anti-Catholic rhetoric however after the opening few chapters when it began to get into the meat of it all, it became somewhat fair. I learnt a lot from this book about Henry VIII and how the English translation of the Bible developed and changed through a period of 300 years or so.
