The suspense in the last couple of chapters in this novel was engaging. It was also nice to have an appearance from Marielle. I like her character. 😊

The end went more in to depth about the Webster tragedy. There was a lot of information at the end, but I'm glad that some things were spelled out for me; I felt tired when I read the last chapter.

It's nice to see Chise protecting someone for a change. 😊

I'm glad that things are picking up in this volume and becoming more action-packed. 🙂

Also, a couple of villains are after some students at the college. 😮 I'm curious to see where that story line will go.

Elias was bombarded with questions about himself. I doubt he's comfortable with that.

Lucy's relationship with her brother seems crappy tbh. She got all worked up when he came to visit her when she wasn't feeling well. She needed to calm down.

Chise now understands what it feels like to worry about someone who feels cruddy physically. She can empathize with Elias and Ruth.

I'm glad that Chise could help herself and Lucy while still getting some advice/assistance from Elias.

Nuckelavees are creepy looking, but that was clearly Kore Yamakazi's intent.
