I couldn’t finish this book… While I enjoyed Melody Carlson when I was a teenager, this book felt shallow and immature for a 30-year-old. I felt like the faith comments were inauthentic and not very deep, and there was so much negative body talk and name-calling (“pink and white spotted pig, walking on her hind legs” and “sideshow freak”) that it was hard to read.
