It was and it wasn’t.
The afterword very much reflected the contents of the book, and like other works I have read by Camp, this takes itself very seriously.
I like his writing even though it can be quite dense, but the ideas, the thinkings, the concepts and feelings, resonate with me and makes me feel less alone as someone who tends to get quite stuck in his own head.
