I love books with unlikeable characters, and I'm not saying he was perfect in Blindsighted ... but someone please explain to me why Jeffrey is suddenly a shallow misogynistic douchebag?
It feels like it's come out of nowhere, and it's legitimately putting me off picking the book back up. It's really irking me.

oof this is a little rough. i thought the first book in the series was a little dated. this one dialed it up about 10 notches.
