I love the relationship between Rifkind & her warhorse; they’re partners, they respect & listen to each other, & during the lightstorm that only affects her human mind, he uses their empathetic telepathy to calm the chaos of her emotions/mind. She also trusts him as autonomous (doesn’t tie him up), & they are in sync in battle. She waters him before herself. So cool to see a horse/human relationship done well!
