Status Updates From a land of slaves: a novel

My words fail me. Instead please read Powell’s description of an undergrad (note: scene is on campus and penises play no role in the surrounding narrative):

“A boy undergraduate slouched past them. “Hi professor Wills,” he said, beaming with strong upper arms and a curl of blonde hair and a bulge down there.”

Words can’t even describe how bad this is
