Status Updates From Disability and the Gospel: ...

If it is according to His good will to let genetic anomolies happen, in some sense it is good that they happen even if we cannot fathom what that good may be"

My head knows this, but my heart desperately still needed this.

This has been such a hopeful book, and yet he so openly shares the grief and pain without shame. Feeling very seen. And weepy.

"But most important, God is delaying closing the curtain on suffering, until more of the world can have the chance to hear the Gospel. For if God erased all disease today, He would also have to erase sin, the general cause of disease, that would mean the destruction of all people. It is God's mercy that delays His judgement."
