Not uncontroversial to say this is perhaps the most famous Ghost story in western literature after a Christmas Carol. I’m surprised by myself taking so long to come round to reading this one for I’ve read enough analyses to know how it goes, but, oh well, let’s see what shudders it gives on these nights of late summer!

I don't know why, and I don't know if it's just how it's written, but I'm struggling with the whole wording of this one. I can't explain it but it just feels like the sentences are hard to read and fully put together. 🙈😂
