i wonder if a narrator can tell when the book is bad? are they cringing while recording?

The baby endearment is always so cringe to me.

I appreciate period sex because it’s not “gross”, but maybe fade to black… seems too personal.

It could have used a bit larger dramatic climax for the 2 of them. I appreciate the lack of a 3rd act breakup, but drama makes for a good book.
