Centers the man and he’s supposed to be this amazing holy guy. Like what? The main character does not have much personality and is just there. Maybe I expected too much but this disappointed me. Not unique enough. I understand what it was trying to do. I do get it was a retelling of the Scarlett Letter but between that and the Handmaid’s tale, it’s all been done before.
