The only way to make a dream come true is to have the passion, the work ethic, and the foundation of a good education to help one go from one step to the next, while pushing aside the obstacles in life. Education is crucial for whatever you do in life. It is fundamental when venturing into the world.

I remember going to bed so happy at night because my parents believed I could become an astronaut - They believed in me.

I thought it was best not to say anything about wanting to be an astronaut, out of fear what people would say or think. I was scared that people would laugh at me and try to break me down, so I decided that I didn't want to give others the power to diminish my dream.

My parents purpose for making us work in the fields was not because they needed our labor, nor was it for the money; they made us literally feel the struggle of physical labor, hoping we would understand the importance of staving for a better future.

My father said to me while working on the field and wanting to quit: "If you quit now you'll be creating a pattern that is easy to conform to. If you don't work hard in school, in life this will be your future, is that what you want?"
"No"
"Then don't settle for ten dollars get back to work" He said with the right balance of authority and his version of though love.

Growing up my parents let us spend small portion of our money on candy and toys, although most of our money went to the family savings.
My family and I have always been very close and supportive of one another. As we each succeeded in life, we looked out for one another and made sure we were all improving together.
