I don't know what it is about this book but I feel like I can't keep track of what is being said. The fact that the narrator does accents doesn't help. I l do enjoy the explanation of the South vs. the North. It really does sound like the south was getting a raw deal in their own products they were selling to the north (if the slavery is put to the side), but I am so lost. Maybe try again another time... Or just DNF.
