Damn! And the worst mom of the year award goes to… and poor Jin is also being traumatized by all that prophecy bullshit. Who the hell is the king though, and where was he when his kingdom was being wiped out? Questions for another volume I guess.

Notes:
(1) One day I need to go back and read Volumes 1-2 together, probably when they're inevitably collected into an omnibus.
- It's weird reading just Vol. 2, because it's the second half of a single continuous story arc.
(2) By the end of this, we've shed all the allies accumulated along the way and are back to just Kaya and Jin.
- The big enemy remains a threat though.

Notes:
(1) The story so far is about a band of heroes trailing a band of kidnappers to rescue a child. Mostly, it's been a lot of walking.
(2) What's been interesting are dynamics within the groups.
- The villains have a definite hierarchy, and people are routinely bossed around.
- The heroes are more or less equal, and have to tolerate each other's bad moods and outbursts.

Notes:
(1) It's interesting that Wes Craig included the main portion of Issue #6 in this trade when the whole idea behind it was that it would only be available as a single issue to reward single issue readers.
- He's apparently done the same with Issue #12 for the next trade.
- I don't believe Al Gofa's 5-page backup is included, which I don't think anyone's clamoring for.
