But Paul's delight in God's rich mercy in his own election did not make him rest on his laurels. On the contrary, it made him realize another aspect of God's sovereignty in salvation: evangelism. Paul suffered for the sake of evangelism because he was convinced that sending the elect out as evangelists is as much a part of God's heart as is saving the elect.

This world desperately needs to see a robust, healthy, Calvinism that celebrates the fullness of God’s ways and works—not a lopsided Christian who cannot get off of the hobbyhorse of God’s sovereignty.
