Status Updates From Time and the Gods

A few notes:

The King That Was Not - arrogant king makes all the statues to honour the gods look like him so the gods punish him by erasing his existence


For the Honour of the Gods - stupid humans kill and make each other
miserable for the amusement of the gods

The Relenting of Sarnidac - the gods fuck off and stupid people whorship a dwarf that was laughed at and persecuted for his disability

I’m enjoying these fantasy stories. Not a huge fan of the genre as a whole but I’m getting there one story at a time. This (along with Dunsany’s other works) are a great gateway.

I wanna finish this in one sitting cause it’s so short but if I read more than like 3 stories they all become incomprehensible
