I'm learning so much and I'm seeing the difference between Ław and Grace in new lights.

This book is the bomb! A beautiful love story unfolding: unlike any other god of the world could afford to demonstrate towards us.

Simply outstanding so far. Horton offers a covenantal ontology in contrast to the EO, RO, and RCC participationist ontologies. We are united to our covenantal head, the Great Suzerain King--the exalted Servant--covenantally. It is the relation of a monarch to his people. Better this than participationist ontologies.

Horton is unique in that he is able to respond (and successfully refute, I think) the New Perspective on Paul without resorting to the shrill histrionics that so characterize the Reformed community.

I see his point on the distinction between Sinai/Abrahamic covenants, but it still tends too close to dispensationalism. Does a good job in showing, from NPP's own testimony, that they still sound just like medieval Catholicism.
