I like this book least of the trilogy. It feels like a teenage boy is writing it. It's so contrived and amateur and adolescent. The characters are caricatures but I don't think they're supposed to be. I don't think the Eddings worked together so well on this series. Finishing it for book club, but honestly, at this point if I'd just been reading it for fun, I would have walked away.

Oohh the romance is real

So far it’s just as good as the second book, with the cool elements that the later end of the book introduced.

Enjoyed the trilogy. Pacing was a bit more drawn out in the third book, felt it was longer than it needed to be. All in all a great read though
