So, I am giving up on this one. I had high hopes given the material and setting, but the thesis was so unclear, the chapters so long and convoluted, that I could barely follow it. Wilson tried to clarify at the beginning where he was going with his WIERDER acronym, but soon lost me. I simply think the material he wanted to cover was too expansive to get a clear thesis out of it, period.
