Volume 2 was definitely better than Volume 1, but this series still isn't a keeper for me.

I've only just started and I'm already taking issue with what the characters are doing and saying. So Nicole doesn't plan to talk anymore about Josh's habit of charming any lady in the vicinity into giving him their phone number? Or how he'd never take a hint and leave her alone? And she's agreed to let him borrow her dreamlog, the top most important thing to her? WTF.

After getting through all the unnatural, nonsensical plot advancements, liking the story a bit better.

So the reason you can't date him ISN'T that he's a shameless philanderer who collects women's affections like Cracker Jack prizes?? And suddenly everyone 's talking about the heroine's absentmindedness like it's this huge thing when it was hardly touched upon in the previous volume. Not a good start.
