“Interdisciplinarity in ecopsychology” is the phrase that’s tattooed underneath my skin. I didn’t even know it was there until I read it here and started basically vibrating with joy. This is my resonant frequency.

This book. Feels like the inside of my brain. Every concept here just fits so well with the way I see the world?? I! Was not expecting that! It’s so strange to spend 20-something years being challenged by other perspectives in books and then to suddenly find one that is just Your Whole Worldview in pages and ink. Reading it feels like breathing. WILD???

This section professes a “just go get outside!” philosophy that doesn’t match with present urban design and land use practices steeped in a long history of injustices. Many people can’t just go get outside. That’s a big part of the problem. Right to risk is not meant to include manmade horrors (var.).
