Status Updates From Satantango by László Kraszn...

I’m giving up on reading this. I’m not persistent enough for it; the sentences are long, dense, deliberately intriguing; the atmosphere is dark, pessimistic, dystopian, confusing; the tone satirical at best. If this is an homage to Kafka, okay, but Kafka’s works are more interesting and readable. I’d call this a work of a madman. The joke’s on me for wanting to read Nobel prized literature.
