I do not like the way we are setting up a future war. Be it in a few decades or centuries. I could never read that! Characters could have died of old age by then! Essie's mom, Averett, Paige, others. Even our favorite very wise and old (in a good way) former elven queen or Rheva's father! I could never recover from that!

Finally, someone mentions what has been itching me for so long. The Kostarians have no way of winning — if they go back to calling themselves mountain elves they would be renouncing a big part of their identity, but they call themselves trolls because it is an insult they adopted as their own. They built their own identity around this insult, but people still view them as storybook evil trolls because of this word.
