-i get the characters in the story bc harriet is draining *me* as well. and I'm just reading about her
-^^ did appreciate that the vampire DRAINS tho. by her nature, the way she lives is through that draining. aspect i enjoy.

Chapter 16 done. I wonder if Harriet will do herself in because the novel seems to posit she is cursed and doomed, no matter what her good intentions are towards Anthony Pennell. Such a terrible premise!
