Status Updates From East of the Mountains

The chapters are slow at times, however, they are the perfect length. The subject matter is wonderful.

After his wreck, a kind couple of climbers give him a ride to the closest store to call a tow truck. Then they ventured to the town to call a friend and the Insurance Company. Once that call is made, the couple leave the protagonist to wait for him friend.

The first chapter is gloomy and shows the mindset of the protagonist. His plan is to go east of the mountains on a hunting trip and commit suicide because he has terminal Colon Cancer.
