lmao quiet day at work today. anyway i'm enjoying this a lot! an interesting collection for sure, which a good variety in its heroines and conflicts. the only one i've read so far that i didn't particularly care for was "jane saint's travails", which i just finished & find myself mystified by. but then i am not really a fan of written surrealism, so /shrug

starting w c.j. cherryh may have set the rest of this up for failure lmao but we shall see!! god this first one was beautiful. i need to read the next book in cherryh's morgaine's cycle, her writing is so good
