That thou are mindful of him, would be a much more powerful story if Dr. Asimov hadn't tried so painstakingly hard to link all of his robot, empire, and foundation stories together.....because it's been a hot minute since I've read Caves of Steel (2018 probably) but the future indicated by this ending kinda didn't happen.... But without that the ending is one of those really good disturbing twists
