Three chapters in and little sign of the eponymous crows. It’s been mostly about the writer’s domestic life and I’m sure I don’t much care if it took over 6 weeks to complete on his house purchase.
At this red flag point, (i.e. should I bail out on this now?) I look to the reviews. Many comment on the beauty of the writing: poetic, lyrical etc., but I’m seeing it as just a bit too fussy.
