Again, this just literally isn't how cloning works. A clone is not a 1:1 copy of the gene donor.

I feel like the issue with human cloning isn't that people are "defying Gd"

I feel like the whole clone replacement thing would be more impactful if they'd named her Elizabeth

Because without doing it the whole replacement thing feels like it falls flat

It's less replacing and more just really wanting your kid to look like your other kid and that's kinda whatever

Ethical issues aside a human clone would not be the same as the person they were cloned from they would just look like them because they have identical genes but genes aren't the whole
