Be kind and compassionate to yourself, the one who has to deal with layers and layers of pain and brokenness.
But I know that Allah is willing to stay with me in my exploration of being compassionate towards myself, for He is compassionate to others and to me. He is Most Merciful and Gentle in allowing me to attend to myself and does not rush me.

It takes more than just one or twice to train us to be compassionate towards ourselves. Allowing anger to destroy our body and engaging in bad habits to drown out the pain is a way of being cruel to the self. It is important to stop this vicious cycle by practicing self-love and taking care our bodies.

Being compassionate to ourselves really is the beginning for us to be comfortable with ourselves and learn not to judge ourselves too much. When trying to identify the concerns we are going through, develop mindfulness instead of overidentifying our weakness and perceived mistakes.

God will be by your side, even when you are not. When you come back to yourself, you will come back to God. Faith will guide you, Faith is your superpower. Faith will show you the light where it brings you, to you.

As we continue living with the ups and downs of life, is to realize that we are always growing. When you grow, you go with the flow, when you grow you allow yourself to be confronted by new things and new people. When you grow, you will be introduced to a new version of you that you have never seen before.

Remember, being flexible and adaptable is key to thriving in a world that's constantly evolving. Because the world is constantly evolving and life is constantly changing, this means the way we deal with our brokenness also needs to be flexible.

It's not wrong to think of help and to seek support but we also do not want to fall into the trap of being vulnerable to the wrong circle of people when they betray your trust, you might close your door to being vulnerable forever.

We need to keep breaking our heart till it finally opens. So if you build more shells around your heart, you keep training your heart to be stone cold, how then can your loved ones reach out to you?
It is okay to let God know you cannot bear it any longer. It is okay to be the real you. The real you will attract real friends. The real you will guide you to the right action steps to take.

We are all different, with our own unique circumstances. Look around, everyone else has their set of stories too, so comparing doesn't make any sense, because we walk our paths differently.

To be strong is not to be firm and rigid. We humans are created with flaws, it is in our nature to commit sin and mistakes, but we can repent, we do wrong but we can become better.

Stop the game of comparing. Also, I thought it is important to remind ourselves to not compare ourselves with others. Each and every one of us is given trials and tribulations by Allah SWT. But each person has their own unique journey towards becoming stronger.
We do not compare and compete with others unnecessarily. We focus on our own actions and do not categorize ourselves according to human standards.

In your wait for the yellow to turn green, you sit and take a pause, you anticipate your next move, you make plans on what to do next and where to go afterwards. In your waiting, there is excitement and also worry. In your waiting, there is a little impatience as well, but you know the yellow will turn green soon anyway.

Sometimes we are unable to create the best endings for ourselves. This is where we seek God to conclude the story of us.

Dear Allah, If hardship is a way for me to be stronger and wiser, Guide me through it all. Make my heart trust You and Your plans.

Remember that you cannot do this on your own, He is your main compass, your main GPS.

I am not saying we should cut off ties with the world, and go into isolation mode where we block all forms of human interaction. What I am emphasizing here is that living a life full of struggles will only be bearable when we include God in all of our equations. God will send the right people to aid you, He will teach you how to bounce back amidst diversity.

We arrogantly believe that our decisions are much wiser than God's fate for us. And when disaster strikes-because of our own poor decisions-instead of reflecting on what we have done wrong, we push all blame and all anger to God, and ask for a better life. Truly, mankind are ungrateful beings.

We will never be able to love God the way He loves each and every one of us. His love for us is so much more than the love of a mother for a child in her womb, whom she has never set her eyes upon.

So do not doubt Him, for His promises are real, and He listens to you every wish.

As long as you have the light of faith, you can and you will walk through any form of adversity.

All God wanted was for us to be fully ready and prepared for our afterlife. We do not prioritise our Akhirah, our afterlife as much as we should. How else can we remember our final destination then?

The only way for your du'a to come through, is when you put 100% trust in His power and believe that He will respond and answer. And inch of doubt will make it all wrong again. If you doubt God, you are doubting His mercy for you. If you doubt God, you are doubting His love for you. Don't ever doubt Him, as His mercy shelters every single soul on earth and His love reaches every single space in the universe.

Let Him know that things are getting overwhelming and that you are running out of fuel to continue. And you have to trust in Him entirely. Oftentimes, when you make prayers and dua to God, you fail to include one very crucial matter: TRUST. When you pray, you have to believe that He will answer, you have to believe that He listens.

Because now that you realise you have God, you can and you will. Read that again: because now that you realise you have God, you can and you will.

God is near and with God, there is always hope.

Brokenness Is An Invitation To Come Home To God

Truth is, you will never be completely prepared for any hardship, nobody is born with 100% confidence and a tank full of certainty and spirit. We all have our flaws and moments of weakness.

Life is not hard. But responding to life's tests and trials-now what that is hard. You do not know what to say, what to ask, how to act or how to react in certain circumstances.

We are confronted with many things as we move from one stage to another life. Like it or not, sometimes these relationships and phases we are will sometimes overwhelm us.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
Because each has been sent
As a guide from beyond.
