I changed my mind. I'm dropping this. The story is boring, and the sex scenes are boring. There's no reason for me to keep skimming through this. I'm getting nothing out of it. By the way, Blath is a terribly stupid name for a person, let alone the protagonist.
Man, I've been striking out a lot this year. I've literally never dropped a book before this year, and now this is number 4.

It has quickly degraded. The story is no longer interesting (it moves too fast), and the writing has been becoming worse and worse. The sex scenes are rushed and boring. It's not a long read, so I'll probably stick it out and finish it, but boy did it become disappointing with a quickness.

Honestly? Not bad so far. The writing is competent, and the premise is mildly interesting. But the intro bits are over, and it's now getting into the meat of the story. Have to see if it can maintain interest.

I just finished a truly amazing novel, so of course it's time to dumpster dive. In my defense, I haven't read garbage in a few months. I'm due.
I guess all these self-published erotic novels are going to have shitty AI art covers from now on, huh? Why bother commissioning an artist for generic slop when you can generate your own, shittier generic slop for free?
