Status Updates From Das Grab des Salomon

A fun pirate Fantasy Adventure novel thus far. I enjoy the characters and the little bits of storyline I've glimpsed so far. This is set in a world that feels half Pirates of the Caribbean and half Forgotten Realms.

I loved this book. I hope to get a review of this book out today.

I love this book. It has been so much fun. I find myself wishing there was another 100 pages. I would have liked to have learned more about the magic with the character, but maybe there will be second book to explain that more *Fingers crossed

I like that the setting is in a fantastical world, but story is very human and tangible.

The author does a good job of revealing some bits of info, but hiding others.

the pirates are nasty, the magic is intriguing and the sailor speech seems genuine. So far, so good.

it always takes a little to get into a new book when you have been reading series for a while.

So far I'm pretty excited about reading a book about sailing. Sounds fun. I have noticed that the author doesn't use "said" very often. Its always she squeaked, whined, joked, ect. No one ever just says stuff. Small thing though.
