Not sure how a group if 7 majority of which is dressed in black w/machetes and knives and other weapons can look inconspicous. Hope they're planning to change their clothes otherwise they're sticking out like a sore thumb. Considering how well everyone has taken to Isla being a witch and energy stealing demons, Kieran's freakout made him look like a pansy! lol Understandable reaction, but pansy nonetheless. lol

I just want to smack these native islanders upside their heads and call them jackasses for the way they've been treating Isla. As much as it's fun and has a way of forming commraderie amongst people, these old time superstitious beliefs can also be a way to exclude people, the way Isla is. It's so ignorant and sad they don't realize it. Like Jere, I'm pissed off at them too.

I'm surprised at how well Isla has just accepted that fact that she's a witch w/powers who also have an shapeshifting animal guide to protect her. Considering she didn't believe in the supernatural when she was first introduced, I would've expected more'of a fight/struggle to convince her about her abilities. But she's gone w/it pretty well and to me it just seemed off.

I want my very own Jeremiah. Wish all the guys w/a PhD in parapsychology were as good looking and charming as he is. His mild clutziness and goofiness just makes him so endearing. Plus he can play blues melodies on his guitar! *swoon* Don't blame Isla for being a loner considering her childhood and the way the natives treat her. Her mom is one piece of work. Where's child services when you need them!

The beginning is slooooow and jumps all over the place. Hanging in there in the hopes things pick up soon.
