Starting Chapter 6 "Brokenness"..

Just finished "Vision", moving on to "Focus". This is a great book! Eye opening and thought provoking!

We need to be true to ourselves by being truthful about ourselves. No answers that reflect who we think we should be rather than who we really are.

When we set out to discover a life purpose, we embark on a journey within, for to understand our reason for being is to recognize the shape of our souls.

"She has listened to her Soul"... A truly amazing thing.

When searching for purpose, it's essential to determine a general direction before exploring an exact role or location. We ask God, "What Job should I take?" Or "Which city should I live in?" Instead of beginning with the fundamental question, "What overall purpose do you have for my life?".

We can pray, meditate on Scripture, and listen to other people's stories, or attend seminars and Bible studies. But the most important action is simply to ask God to reveal the truth to us in the manner he chooses.

We as human beings have a fear in us - the fear that we are so insignificant as to be forgotten. That we are nothing. Unconsciously, His word meets this fear, and answers it.
