Ignore the cliche’ cowboy romance book cover; yeah, I struggled to do so, not wasting my time on such hogwash (no offense to hogs).
The story is in keeping with the usual style of the Thurlos.
Any of the book’s reviews pertaining to ‘hot’ or ‘romantic’ must’ve been written by the reviewers’ pre-teen kids.
Enjoyable. Consider it’s role as that of sobet between courses.

I really liked this book. It ended as such a feel good story. It had romance, crime, blackmail, Native American culture and great twists. Many options left open to follow this up with a sequel - while still remaining a great story well tied up at the end. Altho a new author for me - this is a seasoned author with many published books. I will read more. 4 stars

I received this book right from the author and it is a first read of Thurlo for me. Just starting the book, but finding it easy to read, moving right along.

Any day now I'd like to find out exactly why the hero and his father were estranged. Oh, and exactly why did he and the heroine break-up in high school? Details. Any day now. Anything to make the back-story less thin - that would be grand.....
