Status Updates From When the Music Stops

I'm enjoying this, something a bit different.

Enjoyable story, but .. . All that sexual tension & only one sex scene? Really ?

" Romance was a frivolity, carnal urges something he successfully sublimated, resisting the drive to spoil himself. Now, in the overbearing loneliness of his 4am bed he touches himself in secret, panting & hungry & stunned by shame." . . . Don't sweat it doc. Everyone gets in touch with themselves from time to time.

"Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It's been 14 days since my last confession. I have had... I have had impure thoughts about a man in my care.

The priest's voice registers a mixture of distaste & boredom. "And what impure thoughts are these, my son ?" . . . Really Father?

This copy doesn't have an epilogue. It ends on a train. which is great, but now I'm wondering about the promised sucky epilogue.

Auugh! WTF is happening?

This actually happening. Oh yeah, baby!

Ok this is the type of book that I am DYING to skip to the end. Must resist. BUT I WANNA KNOOOOW.

"How old are you? Please answer. .." The doctor tries to coax him, like a timid wild thing, to speak, but he doesn't seem to understand. Really good but did I misunderstand? Is it a romance of one sort or another? White doesn't seem that...present.

I have no self-control. Who gives a shit. This is fascinating. Not really fond of present tense however. it'll take some getting used to.

Fuck this Dr. Lightfoot! He's a monster! Treating patients as guinea-pigs.

Utterly mesmerized and completely blown away until that epic failure of an epilogue. My guess would be that the author performed a lobotomy on himself before he wrote that...
