Yeah...Idk about this one. We're already dealing with a very big suspension of belief with a child surviving in the North American wilds on his own and growing into a man, but then everything else on top of it... I went from 'intrigued', to 'that's a lot', to 'this has progressed into pure smut', to 'can we just wrap this up now?'. Supposed to be Tarzan retelling, but its missing the mark for me.

I actually enjoyed this book. I wish she wasn’t as forgiving, and instead of her giving in, she forces him to soften up and understand he must earn physical intercourse. Now ofc I still loved it. Not too bad.

DNF. MMC rapes FMC. Twice. I’m not understanding why authors write horrendous stuff like this and then somehow thinks the two characters should remain together with HEA. Who’s trying to be together with their rapist??
