While reading the first few pages I felt daunted by the long journey ahead; each page so has been enfolding me into Proust’s memories and unwrapping new ways to sense the world around me, which has been, in the same way a rain shower purges the ground and wafts up the scent of new earth, refreshing and enlivening; and now, only 25 pages in, I want to take this reading slow and soak up every last page. Loving it!
