You don't need to persuade readers into your realm of thinking, Hockney, just fucking offer up information and make conclusions about philosophers. You're NEVER supposed to lead a reader, so I suppose that makes you a very bad author or, at the very least, essayist with a sales pitch! #notsorry #thethingsyouhavetoreadforagirlfriend

The introduction was very intriguing - had high expectations for this book. But the more i read it the more I realised that the author is far from enlightenement, although considers himself the enlightened one. I get more enlightenment from my morning coffee, tbh. Still worth skimming through 😉
