Status Updates From Fluke

Adam visits his dad and learns his history, causing Adam to forgive him. Adam returns to the hotel and gets badly sunburned. They return home, but Sara changes. Adam apologizes and so does Sara. However, Sara dies soon after, and Adam is depressed until he rejoins his friends. Adam shows the trait of stupidity, shown when he falls asleep in the sun and gets a bad sunburn.

Adam Fluke meets a girl named Sara and falls in love with her. Adam realizes the man who abused young Sara is his biological dad, but is forced to leave on a trip to learn if they are going to have a child. The title of the book does fit the book. The book is basically about a man whose life is a series of mistakes, hence the title Fluke.
