// There's nothing more aggravating than a bleeding heart individual intent on destroying promising work!! This just got this author blacklisted >:-o!!! I'm not surprised this author faded into obscurity with how this book was handled!! The solution made no sense, the time wasted was aggravating, and the abrupt ending was disrespectful to the story!! I will never read this author's work again!!!

// Some authors don't consider the implications of the plot devices they use and too often let their own personal thoughts and beliefs tear apart and destroy a story! Author, if you try to tell a story, then tell the story, don't butt in with your own misguided bleeding heart ridiculous beliefs, just to interfere and destroy a book with bullshit that doesn't make ANY sense!!! What happened in the end makes me so mad!

// Questions arise and the story ends >:-o!!! I was lured into the FALSE sense of a good story and was robbed of justice and a beautiful HEA, which abruptly just ... ENDED, after introducing way too many questions!!! The HFN is nice but after ALLLLL that?!? The abruptness in which everything ended was criminal and nothing happening to Rogan, after killing EVERY member of Alec's family is ABSURD!!! HUGE FAIL!!!

// So the Rogan matter goes nowhere ... held for trial, WTF?!? We know he killed hundreds of people, tried to & succeeded in killing Christian - until Alec brought him back to life ... We know Rogan will never stop until he kills everyone & gets the amulet ... but nooooooo let's not execute this murderous psychopath, bc it's not the right thing to do!! AUTHOR, BUTT THE FUCK OUT WITH YOUR BLEEDING HEART MUMBO JUMBO!!!

// So does this mean that every member of this family is destined to die at some point?! And for that record, I skimmed a little bit toward the end and I see that they didn’t kill Rogan … What the fuck!! This murderous, lunatic, despicable, psychopathic, torturous, genocidal, maniac doesn’t get his head blown off in the end?! Why?! Because it would be wrong to kill him?! So fucked up with the bleeding heart BS!

// So fucking stupid! So Alec turns out to be an extremely powerful mage, which we knew would be the case, we knew he would be in Ansley! This extremely powerful protective medallion that he has had his entire life to shield him from every bad guy on earth, is now gone, so every bad guy & murderous lunatic can never find him!! And also the death of Martin happened so Alec would stay in London!! What the fuck!!

// They don’t even wonder who he is and who he might be and why he might need a protection spell! And for that matter, why not just keep it and put it in a safe place until you need it again or if you need it again?! This author with some really fucking stupid decisions and really really contrived plot devices is destroying this book for me! I’m so fucking pissed!!

// This is making me so angry!! It’s like; hey, this medallion has an incredibly incredibly incredibly strong protective spell placed on it, that I’ve been wearing my entire life, but let’s not wonder about who I might be in Whay I might need such a protection spell, let’s just reverse the spell and get rid of it!! What the fuck! They’ve never seen such a protection spell and yet they want to reverse it!

// What the fuck!! Why on earth would you want to get rid of a very powerful protection spell that was placed on your medallion to keep you safe your entire life?! Why the fuck would you want to get rid of it?! That is the absolute stupidest thing I’ve ever heard and the absolute stupidest plot device!! This book is deteriorating fast!

// So you got him to remove a medallion that protected him and he'll now be like a beacon to every crazy person out there, simply to further the plot?!? Pissed at the author now!!! I hate contrived plot devices!!!!
