Ugh... I love this book, but I hate when this happens with the heroine and hero. It is so frustrating.

This is really good, but Marjery's brother is going to be a very big problem.

I'm really enjoying this. It's probably my favorite galley that I'm reading for a rush review right now. I'm reading three right now. >_< Somebody needs to stop me from getting on Netgalley.

The wording is annoying. Trying too hard to be pretty, but making me bored out of my mine! I hope this changes, but her dedication was just as over-flowery as the book... So I don't hold much hope!

So wait. In the same breath he says he regrets hurting his wife, his one love, he also says she didn't love him enough?! Bastard.

I don't get that. Why say any woman would have done, then immediately offer for her hand? That was really stupid. It makes no sense.

I want to know why Alasdair can't keep a level head around Kendrew. I mean, I get that they hate each other, but couldn't he have said, "well if it wasn't your men in the black longboats, someone is out there causing trouble. Keep your eyes peeled."

it's rare I dnf a book so I hope to persevere, but I'm just not liking this one
